Can Ragi Be Given To The Kids Who Vomit Frequently?
My son entered his sixth month. He used to vomit curd like thing frequently after breast feeding .Some days he vomits and some days he is fine. We started giving him raagi pooridge these days. Some people are saying that raagi increases this vomiting problem and doesnt get digested easily. We prepared raagi flour at home by sprouting it and made a fine powder. Please suggest if raagi doesnt suit to the kids who vomits frequently .
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, I had gone trough the history given here, it may not be vomiting but is the burping action with this the esophagus if contained with milk that comes out with burping, after feeding the child keep the child in erect position and pat the back very gently till burping happens, (Some time it may happens and some time not ) but at least the esophagus contained will go down in stomach, over all it is nothing to worry, try to give soft semi solid food to child that can be easily digest, raagi is kind of millet and it is better to avoid in this age. hope this information helps.
