Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Today, my PCP declined to give me a referral to the Baylor Scoliosis Center saying I want you to lose 20 pounds of belly fat first. I have had a previous Dx of DJD, DDD, and mild scoliosis L3/L4 pain on left side with hip muscles going into cramp spasms after briskly walking only 50 yards. He said, I think something else is causing your back pain. But, other than losing white fat weight around my visceral organs he did not say what it could be. Any ideas?
