Im a 42 year old female . Ive had kidney stones in the past and a cpl small ones . Lately i seem to be showing signs of renal failure. Im swelling to the point of pitting edema . My abdomen is reaĺly distended. Is there any other things i should look for
Hi there. Yes you definitely need to consult a physician or a nephrologist and see if it is still salvagable. Also have to see the current sizes of your kidneys on ultrasound abdomen which will give us a fair idea if it can be salvaged and also to see if you still have stones left. I recommend that you consult a physician or a nephrologist at the earliest and start treatment for the complications you already have. hope this helps!
