I recently did a retrograde urethrogram, and the results showed that everything was normal. But following the procedure I began to notice and feel like my urethra was some of closing up, and my urine stream became weak. As it stands right now I can barely pass any urine at all, my question is could the retrograde urethrogram have some how damage my urethra?
Retrograde urethrogram is procedure of choice in suspected bladder / urethral pathology. If it was normal and the symptoms commence after the procedure - then we can think in terms post procedural infection / inflammation.
Other possible cause could be trauma during the procedure - But symptoms will be seen immediately after the procedure.
Hope it helps you. Wish you a good health. Anything to ask ? do not hesitate. Thank you.
