Can Reusing Femring Be Safe After Recovering From Hysterectomy?

Due to unexplained bleeding and a resulting hysterectomy I had to take out a fairly new Femring for about 4 months. I cleaned it with water and stored it in a baggie. Will it still be effective if I put it back in in a few weeks after my vagina has healed?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear Greetings
Regarding whether it will be necessary to put back a femring into your vagina after wash with water following a previous hysterectomy I will suggest No reason because it is infected by surface microorganisms which will definitely result in vaginal infection

I hope this helps
