Can Semen Swallowing Cause Sore Throat?

Hello, I had oral sex 2 days again, and I swallowed the semen, I started to get a sort throat right the next day, and in the 3rd day, I lost my voice...this isn t the first time I swallow, but the first I lost my voice..could there be any relation between the two?..

Hi thanks for your question.
Seminal fluid contains large quantity of fructose along with semen. Both these components are harmless. But since you developed loss of voice following ingestion of semen which means most probably you developed pharyngitis long with laryngitis (infection of pharynx and larynx commonly called as voice box).Most probably this could be due to ingestion of infected semen. Semen which you swallowed most probably were infected. Consult an ENT specialist who may examine you and may provide you appropriate treatment.
