Does Swallowing Semen Cause Strep Throat?

Just wondering if swallowing semen during oral sex can cause a sore throat and/or strep throat? I don t think I have strep, but have been married to this man for 3 yrs, both disease free, but everytime i swallow his semen, i get a bad sore throat that last for about 2 days. Allergy?

Hello,

It may be due to allergy or viral infection. Herpes and gonococcus may can cause transmission through secretion. Each time after oral intercourse you may use mouth wash or salt water gargle. In case of allergy use anti-histamine. If no improvement consult your physician / sexologist he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
