Can Severe Back Pain Due To A Herniated Disk Cause A Fever ?
My husband has a herniated disk since 3 years ago and its getting worse. His legs are weak, toes are numb and more. He has a fever that wont go away completely and he blames the severe back pain. Has no other symptoms such as the flu, no sore throat or body aches. Can severe herniated disk pain cause fever?
Hello dear Greetings Regarding your husband experience of persistent back ache with weakness and numbness of the toes and leg continous fever following a previous history of herniated disc I will suggest strongly that he has developed a condition called spondylolisthesis (arthritis of the spine affecting the leg)
In view of this please do an x-ray and MRI of the lower back and see an orthopaedic specialist for further clinical assessment and adequate drug prescription
Meanwhile please take the following pending the outcome of the test results Tablet neurobioncymbalta Athrotec Tylenol
Thus this arthritis (spondylolisthesis) causes continous fever
