Can Sexual Intercourse After A Endometrial Ablation Cause Complications?

I had an endometrial ablation (novasure) 6 days ago. I had intercourse with my husband last night :(. He was gentle and did not ejaculate inside. I am not cramping nor have I had any discharge. My doctor did not give me any directions on when or if I could resume intercourse. I was reading a little about it now and kind of got a little scared. Should I go see my GYN asap?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It will be better to avoid intercourse for a couple of weeks. Nothing much to worry and no need to consult your gynecologist as of now.

If there is bleeding or severe pain. You can seek help from a gynecologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
