Can Sinus Drainage Cause Bumpy Sensation In The Epiglottis When Touched With Finger Or Could This Be Related To Quitting Smoking?

Feels like a bump on my epiglottis when I touch it with my finger? Is this possible or is it somewhere else? And might not even be a bump in my throat, can sinus drainage cause that sensation? I used to smoke but have recently quit, hoping this isn t related to it.

hello. i am very happy to hear that you have stopped smoking, kudos!!
the bump can be a small cyst on your epiglottis and this may not be related to your sinus infection. considering your history of smoking, it would be advisable that you show your ENT doctor for evaluation and advice. thanks
