White spots on epiglottis with other findings in pharynx can be due granular pharyngitis. This may be due to recent infection or ill-treated old infection. I would advise you the following in such a situation. This is a special problem and hence best be diagnosed well by an ENT Surgeon. Endoscopy of the affected area. X-ray of chest to rule out tuberculosis in such a case. Do tests of blood, throat swab.
All these will lead to a proper diagnosis and thus allow a proper curative management. Take Povidone iodine gargles. Prescribed course of an antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medicines to be completed, follow up done and continued till the Doctor suggests so.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
