hello I was wondering about smoking whether it can damage brain neurotransmitters and after doing some research I was told that it affects the brain like nicotine or cocaine is that ture?and if so ..is it possible to recover from that damage by yourself after quitting? thank you
Hi Dear, as smoking damage neurotransmitters in sense that it decreased amount of neurotransmitters. and which leads to certain psychiatric disorder like depression. if you quit smoking in sometime neurotransmitter become normal. so it is necessary to quit smoking. if you are not able to quit smoking take help from psychiatrist as smoking leads to change in brain so difficult to quit.
