Can Sore Throat, No Energy. Sneezing & Head Cold Indicate Tonsillitis In A 70 Yr Old?

I m gonna be 70 next wk! Got very sore throat last couple of days. No energy, but nose not blocked. Sneezing. Bit like a head cold. Had tocillitis donkeys yr s ago. Toncills removed bk then. Could this be tocillitis?? (Plz excuse bad spelling!)

Welcome to HCM,
The symptoms are in favor of the infection of upper respiratory tract infection.
To confirm whether it is a tonsillitis or not, you have to undergo clinical examination and oral examination to find out whether tonsils are congested and enlarged.
As you have undergone tonsillectomy, the symptoms are may be due to infection of the pharynx.
