Dear , This is Dr. S.Tomar from healthcaremagic.com's medical team and I will be your medical adviser for this question. Thank you for sharing your concern with us and showing trust on us. Spinal stenosis means the area from where the nerve roots exit gets smaller , that's why the extra pressure on nerve roots causes irritation and inflammation and results in pain , numbness , paraesthesia in that extremity . Such complaints are clearly suggestive of spinal stenosis related problem .You should not bend forwards and avoid lifting any weight . Walk everyday and do light stretch as indicated by physiotherapist . Reduce your weight and maintain a healthy BMI of 23 . I would recommend you to consult further with orthopedic physiotherapist and get proper treatment done . Thank you for your question and feel free to contact us further for any query or follow up. sincerely, DR.S.TOMAR
