General & Family Physician 's  Response
HIV is transmitted by:
1.     unprotected sexual intercourse with HIV infected person
2.     infected mother to fetus/baby
3.     through blood transfusion
4.     sharing infected needle
It does not spread by spit coming in contact with eye. HIV infection is predominantly a sexually transmitted disease worldwide. HIV does not survive well outside the body. HIV cannot be spread from one person to another in casual contact. No cases of HIV spread have ever been reported after a person has come in contact with the sweat, tears, urine, or feces of an HIV-infected person. So relax and don’t worry. Forget this thing.
Thanks
