General & Family Physician, Dr. Priyanka's Response
Hi,
There is no scientific evidence to suggest that steroids can affect the results of a home pregnancy test. However, certain medications can interfere with the accuracy of a pregnancy test, such as medications that contain hCG (human chorionic gonadotropin). Winstrol does not contain hCG, so it is unlikely to interfere with the results of a pregnancy test.
It is possible that the negative results could be due to taking the test too early. Home pregnancy tests are most accurate when taken one week after a missed period. If you continue to experience pregnancy symptoms and your period does not arrive, you may want to consider scheduling an appointment with your healthcare provider to confirm a pregnancy or investigate other possible causes of your symptoms.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
