Can Stimulant Drugs Cause Diarrhea, Nausea, Fatigue And Dizziness?
Hi I just spent time at a week long festival and I woke up on the last day having intense heart flutters, weakness with dizziness, followed by intense vomiting and diarrhea for 24 hours. I was hydrating but I was in the sun for several days and did use some substances the few night(s) before. I went to a clinic at the event and they told me that it could have been food poisoning or dehydration, but I suspect it was the substances I was taking. Would those symptoms be a result of a substance hangover, or would it be more dehydration/food borne illness?
Hello, It depends upon what substances you were taking but many illegal substances can cause the symptoms you describe. In addition, it could be a combination of the substances and dehydration. Illegal substances are not controlled for purity and may even contain contaminants that result in death. Please be careful. Regards
