Can Stomach Belt Be Used 3 Months After C Section?

Hi sir..i am entered in third month after my c-section but I am looking like pregnant again. Is it helpful to use stomach belt now? I purchased doctors choice abdominal belt. On the box I found that not recommended while sleeping. Is it not safe to use while sleeping? How many days shall I use it? Is it works only by compression? Answer me sir. Thank you!

Hi
Thanks for posting on HCM
A stomach belt 3 months after c section may not be the best as it may have adverse effects on your scar especially if you are overweight or have gained excessive weight during pregnancy. Pressure on the abdomen due to a tight belt can increase your chances of having hernia post a C-section.
I will advise you exercise some patience as weight loss after delivery is a progressive proccess. 3 months after c section, abdominal/flow exercises with good food habbits may be the best. You may also see your GYN/OBS for advise to join a gym.
Hope this will help
Wish you good health
