Can Sudden Start Of Exercise Cause Early Menstruation?

I am 21yo, 5 1 124lbs. I just had my period a week and a half ago, but yesterday started bleeding again. It is not exactly heavy bleeding but it s more than just spotting and is companied by really bad cramping. I am not sexually active, nor take oral contraceptives. I did just start weight training and regular excercise. Could my period have been induced by the sudden start of exercise, or is there something wrong with my reproductive system? My regular medications are 900mg neurontin a day and 50mg zoloft, also Norel twice a day for allergy fluid in my ears.

Hello,

Exercise and physical exertion do not induce bleeding.

If your periods are persistently irregular, you can consult a gynecologist and start on hormonal pills.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
