About 3 years ago my husband, age 49 at the time, had surgery. He had a subdural hematoma which prior to the surgery caused: headaches, dizziness and finally he began vomiting. After the surgery, the doctor told us he suffered a very mild stroke. Does this kind of surgery cause personality changes? he seems to be more depressed... he gets very agitated, and we cant seem to calmly discuss matters. He is not as motivated to get up and work in the yard, pick up his clothes, even fix his car like he used to do. He seems to feel his 15 yr. old son should do more around the house to earn money for: school lunch, or his clothes. If I say too much, I feel like I m nagging or being to cynical. But yet, if I don t push nothing gets done, or I take care of things. I sometime think rational reasoning is really gone... any advice please would be very helpful...thank you
