Can Surgery Fix Limping Due To Muscle Weakness Because Of Polio?

I have polio in my right leg below knee since I was 3 years old. Now I am 35.I have a week calf and muscles and I have a limp in walking. The leg length is uniform the limp is becuase of muscle weakness particularly in the ankle area. Can surgery fix this ?
