Can Symptoms Like Dizziness, Weakness And Headache Occur Once The Sugar Level Is Below 100 In A Diabetic Patient?
I suffer from diabetes and when my blood sugar goes down 100 I start to feel very dizzy , weak, shaky and with headaches. shouldn't these type of symptoms happen only when I have a low sugar below 60? I try to lower my sugar but its difficult because I start to feel very bad when my sugar is below 100 which is my goal.

Hello, Welcome to HCM The symptoms of dizziness, weakness and headache that you are experiencing are surely hypoglycemic symptoms. There is no definitive cut off value to experience these symptoms. I would advice you to maintain blood sugar levels between 80 to 120.Its quite good. 60 will be very less. You are more prone to get hypoglycemic attacks at such lower levels of blood sugar levels. Acute Hypoglycemia is very dangerous than chronic hyperglycemia. Hope you are satisfied with the answer. Thank you
