Can Tachycardia Cause Shaky Hands?

I was just told I have a Tachycardia and I am also feeling shaky especially with my hands and I thought this was because of hyperglycemia I was told I had, but I don t believe it is and I cannot get the shaking under control. So, I would like to know if this is because of the Tachycardia and why?

Hi,

Incomplete data like age, gender, duration of the symptoms, any other associated symptoms and medical issue not mentioned.

It is hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) which can cause tachycardia, sweating, tremors ('shaky hands').

Apart from that tachycardia and shaky hands are also suggestive of anxiety or hyperthyroidism, or due to certain medications.

You need to be properly evaluated to rule out anxiety or hyperthyroidism.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
