Hi,
1. Severe reaction you had to
Cipro is called
allergic reaction which is associated with
chest pain, difficulty in breathing at the time of reaction.
2. Other pain in chest you have after the reaction is not related to Cipro reaction.
Sometimes, Cipro use is associated with pain of the joints including chostochondritis.
3. Chest X-ray, respiratory function tests are advised to rule out respiratory problems.
Cardiac tests like ECG, cardiac echo,
stress test are important to exclude heart problems.
4. If everything is ok, then, chostochondritis might be a cause to the pain you feel. It might be due to Cipro side effect or
arthritis. Chest X-ray would determine it.
5. OTC painkillers can help ease the pain together with mild to moderate and stretching exercises.
Hope it helped!
