Can Taking Monicure: 150mg Fluconazole Oral Pill Hinder Pregnancy?

Hi Ladies, My Husband and I started trying for children this past Monday. My ovulation calendar said I was to start ovulating on Tuesday. Thursday I felt an early on set of a yeast infection (i get them 4 times a year approx.) without thinking I treated it right away with Monicure: 150mg fluconazole Oral pill Today I have read some terrible things about taking this when trying to conceive or in very early pregnancy. I have also got no good information from the pharmacist. Does anyone have experience with this?

A single dose of Fluconazole 150 mg has no harmful effects in either situation.

Fluconazole in a single dose of 150 mg is an effective antifungal agent that can be used for vaginal candidiasis.

Studies involving the use of low doses of fluconazole (mostly a single dose of 150 mg) during the first trimester of pregnancy did not show any harmful effects in the growing baby.

It is also found to be safe in women who are trying to conceive. So, there is nothing to worry about its safety in these two situations.
