Can Taking Pantroprozole,Rantidine And Zantac Be Safe For Gastritis?
hi doctor! this querry is regarding my husband since last 2 years he is having gastric problem he is tremendeous burning and acid in his stomach which goes towards his chest and head .the situation os so bad that now he cant live without the medicine earlier adoctor gave him pantroprozole for 3 months then he has also been taking rantidine zentaic ocid capsules nexum , one or the other to keep going.we have the anthem blue shield insurance please guide us we really need help can it be a ulcer?
There would be no need to take medicine that controls the acid secretion like pantoprazole, zintec, or ranitidine once the symptoms subside or underlying disease is cured.
If the symptoms are still there even after taking these medicine then no need to continue it, instead the underlying cause of symptoms need to be found out beside the hyperacid secretion or ulcer.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
