Can Taking Antibiotics Delay Periods?

I started Augmentin on the 16th of January for an ear infection. It is now the 21st and I am due for my period. I am on birth control (Microgestin FE 1/20) But I also use condoms every time I have sex. Can my antibiotics effect my period and make it later?

Yes, Augmentin can reduce the efficacy of birth control pills.
FOr how many days did you take the antibiotics ?
As you have used back up method of condoms everytime, there is nothing to worry.
Apart from that there is nothing else you could have done too.
As you did not spot earlier on in the cycle, you should be having your period on time.
Wait it out for a few days, I think you would have your period as expected.
If you dont, take a pregnancy test.
