Can Taking Azo For Few Weeks On And Off Lead To Dryness In Mouth?

Question about badder otc meds. Can taking Azo for longer than 2 days, say off and on for a few weeks, cause dry mouth? Had a uti, 12/20, took macrobid for 7 days, didnt completely cure. went to dr 1/9 and prescribed ciproflaxin. on that same day, before the antibiotic, i felt this weird sensation in my mouth, like rough, raw, places. thought it was thrush but not white etc.. just wondering if it was an allergic reaction to so much of the axo and the uristat otc

If you are taking more than one kind of antibiotic then these could give certain kind of side effects that might be included dry mouth so in my opinion taking antibiotic for no good reason is not advisable, your problem of dry mouth will come around soon as soon as you stop the antibiotic,
