Can Taking Fluvoxamine Boost Energy Levels In A Person?

Hi I am currently taking Fluvoxamine and i was first prescribed it while be at an in patient hospital. The doctor had me take it at night and said that i could even feel a difference the next day. This was a couple years ago and and the next day i did feel a difference. I wasnt as moody, things didnt effect my mood. I also take Quietapan (Seroquel) which makes me very groggy in the morning so my doctor suggested i take it in the morning as well as at night. Over all my question is I ve been taking Fluvoxamine as prescribed for a while now and i was wondering if these boosts of energy are from the Fluvoxamine?

Fluvoxamine is a antidepressant and it helps in increasing serotonin level in brain. That help in maintaining good mood. After taking it, you would feel better in mood and your laziness would go, but as you said, it felt better next day onward after taking it, that is not possible. It take two weeks to show response. I think your case, your are also getting some psychological effect of taking drugs.
