..so what type of diet to eat so that i can gain weight and if i want to join the gym so can i take protein supplements in that powder form ..is it advisable to have that
If you do go to the gym, it would be best to do strength training exercises. If you do aerobic exercise, expending your energy would either cause weight loss or prevent any weight gain.
To gain weight, you would need to increase your calorie intake.
This means that you need to: (1) increase the portion sizes of your meals (2) increasing the frequency of your meals using snacks between main meals (3)further increase calorie value by adding condiments to the meals (eg dressings, oils, butter etc)
I hope this helps
