Diabetologist 's  Response
Hello,

There are multiple factors that decide the need to increase the dose. Did he take the medicine prior to the seizure? What are the type of seizures? What is the cause of the epilepsy? Body weight? Any other comorbidity? Any recent illness?

Increasing the dose on one's own is absolutely NOT RECOMMENDED. I would recommend you visit your neurologist before switching the dose.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
