Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
right side of body, upper back pain, below shoulder blade , as if I have a cold in my muscle, worst when I lay down and even worse yet when I rise in the morning, I have just seen my orthodotic doctor, and he took a xray and said it is tendonitis in my right hand , mostly in my fingers. the pain has been their on/off for a month or two, I ve been taking and antiinflamitory for 1 week now. could you tell what it might be or do you need more information
Detailed answer: I had gone through the question and understand your concern. Tendinitis in hand cannot cause shoulder and back ache. As you experience the pain mostly when you wake up in morning , pain may be because of sleeping in wrong posture.
If i were your treating doctor , then i would have prescribed you analgesic tablet and ointment along with antiinflammatory.
Hope this information helps. Wish you good health.
