Can The Bodies Immune System Eliminate Hpv Virus?
I am a 33 yr old female.I have been recently diagnosed with low risk hpv and told to do a recheck in 6 mos. What does this mean? I am going to be abstinant til my next check so as not to keep reintroducing the virus to my syestem. Can the bodies immune system eliminate this virus?

It means that you are sufferig from human papilloma virus. It is treated only symptomatically but one should keep in mind that there is a chronic component of it. Pap smear is also a must along with regular follow ups
