Can The Bruise On Thumb After An Injury Heal By Itself?
I accidentally walked into a railing today and my hand was just in the wrong place.. It hurt a lot at that time and a few seconds later, I noticed a bruise where I may have broken a vein. I didn't think it was serious.
But now, I have just been woken up in the middle of the night by a pain at the base of my thumb and my thumb movement seems to be a little retarded (I play the piano a lot so my fingers are generally very nimble and I am very worried about my thumb)
Is my thumb going to be okay? Will it heal soon?

hi bruise on the thumb affecting the movement is little bit serious.it should be managed by broad spectrum antibiotic twice daily for 5-7 days ,anti inflammatory agent and application of mupirocin ointment over the lesion.it gets cured by one to two weeks depending on the depth of the bruise and ur immune status
