Can The Day Of Spotting Be Considered As The First Day Of Periods?

Hello, i was 5-days delayed. I had spotting yesterday but stopped in the evening and little spotting in the morning today. Blood finally came today at noontime. Question is when is my first day of period, today or yesterday? Im trying to conceive so 1st day is important for me to know for my fertility calendar

I understand your concern.
Spotting cannot be considered as first day of your periods as spotting can happen intermittently anytime during the periods for various reasons. You need to get proper bleeding on which day you consider it to be the first day of your periods. From then, your ovulation should happen on 13 day in a 28 day cycle. Hence your fertile period would be between 10th day to 17th day, accordingly.
