Can The Enlargement Of The Uterus Be Treated Non-surgically?

Having problems with my uterus enlarging been diagnosed with having to have it removed, question is why does it enlarge and how can I prevent it from enlargement without surgery and if surgery is the answer? And if so, how long will the recover time be?

dear patient. the most important cause of uterus enlargement is due to development of fibroids,multiple massess or ,can also be due to adenomyosis and due to uterine and cervical tumors.In the beginning they are harmless,but with time they can become cancerous. If you already have had kids,i suggest you to go for surgery as it is the only treatment option available.you will recover within two-three weeks of time after hysterectomy.there is no way to prevent enlargement,without surgery.
