Can The Injury On Leg And Indentation After Getting A Cortisone Shot Be The Cause Of Constant Leg Ache?
My sister had a bad fall about a year ago, injured the top of her leg. About six months ago she had a cortisone injectin. Now she still has pain, a constant ache and a deep indentation at the cortisone injection site. Indentation is very noticeable, about 1 deep and 4 long. What could this be?

The indentation in the leg is likely to be due to shin splints. The cortisone shot is given to reduce the inflammation in the area and does not cause the pain. Take mild anti inflammatory pain killers for relief.
