What Causes Shoulder Pain After Receiving A Cortisone Shot?
Hi, I have been diagnosed with a shoulder injury from car wreck. Doc said that head of bicep muscle may be torn. I had cortisone injection about a month ago. Today sudden onset of pain in the shoulder with stabbing pain and dull ache. Could injection have worn off? Have I possible worsened the injury?

Yes, the cortisone injection effect may reduce after one to two months after injection. Take oral NSAIDS, with ice application and compression, is useful. If symptoms not improved, please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
