Can The Long Thread-like Item In The Stool Indicate Parasites Or Worms?
Hi. I m 39 y.o. female. When I had a bowel movement today and I wiped there was a long string like item on the toilet paper several inches long that I have never seen before in my life. I have read some of these threads about possible parasites or worms, but I definitely am not losing weight or having any symptoms like that. What could this possibly be? It is the color of my bowel movement comma obviously comma and I wasn t sure if I should try to wash it off to look at it closer. This is so gross.

This is mostly suggestive of worms, long thread like, comma shape, is a typical description of worm.
You need to take antiworming medication or before taking it I suggest to get a stool examination and culture done once.
A single dose of Albendazole 400mg can cure the worm infestation, most of the times.
