Can The Smokeless Electronic Cigarette Be Smoked During The Face Lift And Eye Lid Treatment?

I used to smoke about 10 cigarettes a day, but have reduced to only 3 per day. Having eye lid lift and mini face lift next week, very nervous, can t stop my 3 per day. Bought a smokeless electronic cigarette, low nicotine kind. Can I smoke this during this waiting period and during my healing?

Thanks for asking to Healthcare magic.I would suggest you to get nicotine replacement therapy as per your physician's advice with even e-cigarettes(containing low nicotine) if permissible.Otherwise avoid smoking atleast 2 days before surgery, better would be 4-6 weeks to avoid any complications during surgery.I would also suggest to completely avoid smoking even E-cigarette after surgery which delays the wound healing process .Consult with and follow the pre- and post-operative advices as per your treating doctors.Hope this information helps you.Take care.
