Can There Be High Fever And Other Symptoms In Kids While Teeth Are Emerging ?

Hello Dr. My daughter a year and eight months. Starting was suffering from a rise in temperatures slightly runny nose and diarrhea and also four teeth have emerged and continued symptoms for two days, but three days ago suffering times of sporadic high high in temperatures and do not know what it please help

Hello. Welcome to HCM.
If your daughter is having teeth eruprtions, at 1 year 8 months, it is delayed teething and you need to discuss this with your pediatrician. However, if teeth had started erupting eaarlier and are continuing now, you need not worry. In this climate, children are prone to many viral fevers, which can be high grade. You can give her mild antipyretic as crocin. make sure she does not have any abdominal pain etc. In case the doctor advises you for blood tests, please request a WIDAL test also.
