Can Thyroid Cause Any Problem To Get Pregnant?

Hi Doctor, i am 23 years old and in oct 2010 abortion three month of pregnancy . Now got thyroid test reveals TSH is 8.24. I have never had thyroid earlier. we are looking for pregency. Is Thyriod effect on pregency point of view , how to overcome this problem? I am worried as i want to plan the family soon. Pls suggest us to overcome the Thyroiditis.

What is your t4 level ????

Here for hypothyroidism levothyroxine tablet has to be started ....You might need 50 ug or 75 ug dose and than adjusted according to tsh level...

You are right ...

Hypothyroid can be related to pregnancy issue ...

So just now better to control TSH level between 2 to 3 ....
