what is epithelial cell, seem that mine is elevated. I had an infective tooth, that was removed and put on antibiotic for two weeks.. I have been fighting sinus congestion for over a year. Next trip will be an allergy doctor. Can all of this be related?
I understand your concern, and as you asked about relationship between tooth cavity and sinus infection, here my answer is yes. I would like to say that roots of upper premolars and molars are some times reaching up to cavity of maxillary sinus, thus caries of such tooth may spread infection into maxillary sinus. Quite often extraction of such tooth may lead to oroantral fistula.
As far as second part of your query is concern, I would like to say that sinus inflammation may be due to bacterial, viral and allergic.
Probably above answers your query.
Thanks for consulting HCM.
