Hello I went to the doctors office today with shortness of breath, fatigue, congestion, joint pain and greenish brown mucus coming from my nose and mouth when I cough. I was prescribed Tramadol HCL and send home. I have a history of stroke and aneurism. I am concerned and need to know If I should take this medication or go to another doctr
Hi! Tramadol is a narcotic like analgesic (painkiller). The doctor probably prescribed it for your joint pain. However from your description you appear to have a respiratory infection ( a bacterial one ,considering you've been bringing out greenish brown mucus).
