Can Transvaginal Scan Show False Negative Result?

i had positive hpt and yet negative result in transvaginal. how could that be possible? i am confuse if I am really pregnant. i had irregular period from last month. that it lasted for 2 days only which is very unusual because my regular period always lasted for 5-6 days.

Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Positive urine pregnancy test is confirmatory of pregnancy. However, at very early pregnancy, it is not visualized in transvaginal ultrasound. Ectopic pregnancy should also be ruled out.
I would suggest you to repeat the ultrasound after2 weeks.
