General & Family Physician, Dr. Priyanka's Response
Hi,
It is not recommended to take travel sickness tablets while taking Champix without first consulting with your healthcare provider. Champix (varenicline) is a medication used to help people quit smoking, and it works by binding to certain receptors in the brain.
Travel sickness tablets contain ingredients that may interact with Champix or affect its effectiveness, so it is important to check with your doctor or pharmacist before taking any additional medication. They can advise you on the best course of action to manage your symptoms and ensure your safety.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Priyanka, General & Family Physician
