Can Tube Removed After Ulnar Nerve Surgery And Treatment For Pain?
Hello, I have had 2 major ulnar nerve surgeries and the 2nd one the ulnar nerve was put inside a cortex tube for protection the last surgery was 6 years ago and I am still in major pain at the site where the tube is. Will the specialist remove the tube?
As the removal of the tube needs to be decided based on the clinical examination. If the requirement is there to be removed than the surgeon will remove it. But we need a detailed description of the history that for what it was inserted and what procedure was performed.
Also, the pain is totally related to the nerve inflammation and this is the functions of the nerve to have disturbance in the normal physiological process. So get it examined once before taking up any thoughts.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
