Can Ulnar Nerve Entrapment Cause Numbness In The Finger?

I had carpal tunnel release surgery 3 months ago. For the most part it was successful. However as I ve begun using my hand more I am waking with numbness in the tip of my middle finger. My question is: do both the median and ulnar nerve serve the middle finger, i.e., could the numbness be caused by ulnar nerve compression? Regards, Scott

Hello and welcome to HCM,
The middle finger is supplied by median nerve only.
The numbness in middle finder could be due to compression or irritation of median nerve.
I suggest you to consult your orthopedician.

Thanks and take care
