Can Unprotected Sex Within A Week Of Ending Periods Cause Pregnancy Even After Taking Unwanted 72?

My periods got over on 26th feb. Last night i.e. on 2nd march i had unprotected sex with my husband. Though i was so sure that the sperms did not enter my vagina, still i have taken unwanted 72 today i.e. 3rd march at around 11.45 p.m to avoid any kind of pregnancy. But now i m really worried that i might suffer from its side effects such as unexpected bleeding or disturbed mensyrual cycle. Do u really think that in my case these side effects are likely to occur ?

You do not need to be worried. The sexual episode occurred within just 8-10 days of your menstrual cycle. This are relatively safe days. Also you have used emergency contraception so you are protected.
The pills may cause unexpected bleeding in some cases and usually this occurs when used in the later part of the cycle. This is unpredictable. But the bleeding is mostly similar to normal menstrual blood so do not worry.
