Can Unwanted 72 Be Taken While On Duoluton L Tablet?

Hi Doctor, I am taking duoluton L tablet from 15th September 2016 as my period was coming up 7 days early from 20th June with heavy lower abdomen pain. I had intercourse on 20th September. Can i take unwanted 72 to avoid pregnancy? Or Should i stop using duoluton l tablet ? Thanks Avantika

Unwanted 72 or Duluton may help prevent pregnancy when taken within 72 hours of unprotected sex.

I will not say you need to stop Duluton. However if taken properly, you may not need unwanted 72 to prevent pregnancy as they contain almost the same ingredients.

Depending on why you are taking it, you may see your doctor to decide if to stop it. However, it may help you prevent pregnancy when taken within the right time.
